Description
The Power+ Z6 is the first electric zero-turn that genuinely competes with gas equivalents in the residential class – quiet enough to mow at 6 AM without waking the neighborhood, fast enough to keep up with a Kohler-powered tractor, and clean enough to run inside garages and outbuildings without exhaust concerns. Power comes from four 56 V Power+ batteries running in parallel; the same battery platform you can already use across trimmers, blowers, chainsaws and snow blowers.
Two independent brushless motors drive the cutting blades and two more drive the rear wheels – a setup that delivers the precise, instant torque control gas zero-turns cannot match. Lap-bar steering pivots the mower around its own center, just like a gas zero-turn, but with no engine vibration or warm-up time. Hit the start button and you are mowing.
rates the Z6 at up to 2.5 acres per charge with four 10 Ah batteries installed; you can also reduce that pack size or upgrade to higher-capacity packs. Recharging is done off any standard 120 V household outlet, and you can keep mowing while a spare set is charging if you have a second four-pack.
The 42-inch deck features three fabricated steel blades, dual-LED headlights, a USB charging port for your phone, a Bluetooth audio system and a full-function dash with battery state-of-charge gauges. Mowing time, total runtime and power profile can be customized through ‘s smart controller.
